• Reserve Fire Fighter position is continuous recruitment
• $8.10- $13.00 per/hr
  
• 24 hour shifts
  
• 3-8 shifts per month

Minimum Qualifications: (All Qualifications must be completed to apply)

• Firefighter 1 (California State Certified, or Firefighter 1 Academy, California State Certified)
  
• Current Emergency Medical Technician-1 (Certified with San Diego County Emergency Medical Service), (front and back on same page)
  
• Current CPR Certified (front and back on same page)
  
• Hazardous Materials- First Responded Operational
  
• Valid Class C drivers license (front and back on same page)
  
• DMV Drivers License/ID Record
  
• Physical agility requirement- CPAT, Biddle, JPA or equivalent within one year of academy start date (equivalent will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the Reserve Coordinator), or an Accredited Firefighter 1 Academy within six months of academy start date.
• Copy of High School Diploma or GED
